What’s on at the Studio
Men’s Mend Monday is part of the LIVVS_Archive creative project supported through a European Solidarity initiative.
Every Monday the studio opens its doors to the lads behind the project, creating space to learn practical mending skills, develop confidence with clothing, and build a creative community around fashion, sustainability and self-expression.
Led by Max, head stylist at the studio, with support from Margaret, an experienced tailor and maker, this session welcomes anyone who wants to repair, restyle or revive their clothes.
Sometimes your clothes need a little grá, sometimes they need a little bling. In this studio we do both.
Bring along jeans, jackets, knitwear or anything that needs fixing, altering or reinventing. You'll learn practical techniques while sharing tea, conversation and creativity with others in the studio.
Guest artists occasionally join the session, including:
• Margaret Nolan – artist and felting specialist
• Barbara – embellishment and creative textile magic
This is a relaxed and welcoming studio environment where fashion, craft and community come together.
Limited to 11 participants per session so everyone gets support.

Not every mend has to disappear. Sometimes it’s the most exciting part of the garment.
In this playful studio session, Barbara Vulso invites you to transform a denim jacket through embellishment, patches, badges, stitching and creative repair. Think colour, texture, sparkle and personality.
This workshop celebrates dopamine dressing or clothing that lifts your mood and makes you feel powerful when you wear it.
Barbara brings along her little magic kit, where participants can set intentions for their garments while they work. A bit of sparkle, a bit of storytelling, and maybe a small spell of creativity to weave into your clothes.
Bring a denim jacket that needs love, personality, or a full creative transformation.
Expect creativity, laughter and a relaxed atmosphere at LIV Vintage Studio.

The Styling Circle at LIV Vintage Studio is a hands-on session focused on building outfits and preparing looks for upcoming studio photoshoots.
Working with Max, the studio’s head stylist, participants experiment with clothing, layering pieces, and creating outfits that feel confident, expressive and ready for the camera.
Coming to a session with a stylist can help you build confidence, whether you’re preparing for a photoshoot, getting ready for an event, or simply learning how to feel more comfortable and expressive in your clothes.
Participants are invited to bring garments, accessories or ideas they would like to explore. LIVVS Archive will curate looks for the theme of the night. Together we experiment, style looks, and discover new combinations that work both for the camera and everyday life.
This session is particularly welcoming to men and trans men, creating a supportive environment where people can explore fashion, identity and personal style in a relaxed and respectful space.
The looks developed during the styling circle can then be used in the studio’s bi-weekly photoshoot sessions.
Expect creativity, encouragement and a collaborative studio atmosphere.
